About UsPT TORUS MARINE SOLUTIONS

Practical seagoing experience. Executive-level advisory.

A boutique Indonesian maritime consultancy serving owners, managers and operators across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Company OverviewSECT 01

A consultancy shaped by two decades at sea and in the boardroom

PT Torus Marine Solutions is an Indonesian maritime consulting and technical assurance company founded on a simple conviction: shipping companies deserve advice from people who have actually run ships.

Our founder brings more than twenty years of experience spanning tanker operations, HSSEQ leadership, fleet risk management and maritime consultancy — from deck and engine-room realities to vetting rooms, class surveys, P&I claims and board presentations.

We deliberately operate as a boutique. That means senior people on every engagement, no junior leverage model, and recommendations we are prepared to stand behind in front of your charterers, your insurers and your board.

From Jakarta, we serve clients across Indonesia, Southeast Asia and international trading fleets — wherever assurance, compliance and performance questions need answering.

Mission

To help maritime companies operate safer, cleaner and more reliable fleets by turning compliance obligations into operational advantage.

Vision

To be the most trusted boutique marine assurance partner in Southeast Asia — the firm executives call before the inspector does.

Core ValuesSECT 02

The standards we hold ourselves to

V·01

Integrity of findings

We report what we find — not what is convenient. An assurance opinion is only worth the independence behind it.

V·02

Seamanship in advice

Every recommendation must work on a moving deck at 0300, not just in a PowerPoint. Practicality is a quality standard.

V·03

Data over opinion

We quantify: observation rates, deficiency trends, stage scores, off-hire days. Measured problems get solved.

V·04

Discretion

We work inside commercially sensitive territory — vetting records, claims, acquisitions. Confidentiality is absolute.

V·05

Transfer of capability

Our goal is to make your team stronger, not dependent. Every engagement includes structured knowledge transfer.

V·06

Long-term partnership

Fleets are managed in decades. We build relationships measured the same way.

Leadership PhilosophySECT 03

Senior-led. Always.

Many consultancies sell senior credentials and deliver junior staff. Torus does the opposite: the experience you meet in the proposal is the experience that boards your vessel, writes your gap assessment and presents to your management review.

Our founder's career — command-track tanker operations, shore-side HSSEQ leadership, enterprise risk management, and advisory to owners and operators — defines the firm's working style: direct, evidence-based, and respectful of the people who actually operate ships.

We believe the best maritime consulting sits at the intersection of three disciplines: technical depth, regulatory fluency and commercial judgment. Engagements are scoped so all three are present in every deliverable.

Six reasons executives keep our number
